Committee for Attention to the ISO (CMISO)

The Mexican Committee for Attention to the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) is a subsidiary of the Directorate General of Standards (DGN) to respond to work arising from the ISO in order to establish the national stance on behalf of the interests of Mexico.
 

Among its activities are:
 

a) To establish the national positions agreed within the Mirror Subcommittees constituted in Mexico.

b) To help coordinators with the voting or any complication which may arise, report on standards projects and communicate new work to the ISO.

The structure of the CMISO comprises a Presidency (Directorate General of Standards), Executive Secretariat (Directorate of International Standardization) and the coordinations of the National CMISO Mirror Subcommittees, which integrate technical experts and other interested parties who wish to participate.
